Attach the Mount to the CTS/X4 Monitor First
Before securing the mount to your vehicle's dashboard, you must first attach the mount to the CTS/X4 monitor.
This step is critical to prevent undue stress on the mount during installation. -
Install the Monitor and Mount Assembly to the Dashboard
Once the mount is securely attached to the CTS monitor, you may then install the full assembly onto the dashboard as instructed.
Important Warning:
Installing the mount onto the dash before attaching it to the CTS/X4 monitor may cause the mount to break or fail. This is considered an incorrect installation.
Warranty Notice:
Improper installation – including installing the mount on the dash before attaching the monitor – will void all warranties associated with this product.
